Plessey Woods & the Blyth River Northumberland


Plessey Woods & the Blyth River, Northumberland.

Plessey Woods Country Park is situated between Cramlington and Bedlington in Northumberland.
The park covers 100 acres and is home to a wide range of wildlife.
Red squirrels. roe deer and foxes live in the woods as well as bats and a number of birds including the great spotted woodpecker, nuthatch and tree creeper.
The river Blyth is a habitat for otters, kingfishers and dippers.
